Cafe Artdur`s in Winston Salem

If you like home cooking comfort food, you will like Arthur’s. It is convenient to my office and I eat there once a week. My favorite sandwich is their cheeseburger club. Nothing fancy but I like it!

Servers always fill up the husband's coffee but abandons the wife's cup of soda. My wife was paying the bill and asked for a go cup and the server had a hissy fit like a little cry baby it was so annoying no tip was left. Now she tells all her friends to avoid this place completely. The owner makes excuses if you want banana pancakes saying they dont last long where you can buy some fresh bananas across the road he is not willing to help customers. The servers get short with you when you use their free WiFi and read the paper and chat with a friend and sit at a 4 msn table and sit for hours because you a big eater! The servers here never ever asked for dessert when we stopped for breakfast and brought our entire family. If you want to make more tips work for it!

They have a five star salad that is Great! This is what I get every time. Very nice staff!

Friend took me here while in the area, first time ever eating here. I can say it was a nice place to eat. They had a little of everything to choose from and the atmosphere was rather nice. The food came very quickly and was rather good. The prices seemed very reasonable too. I would definitely eat here again.

Good food, quick service...great location for the hospitals and offices in the surrounding area to get a fast and filling lunch!

Care Arthur's restaurant is a neighborhood comfort food eatery with very reasonable pricing.

I just love Cafe' Arthur's because they have breakfast, lunch, and supper and the food great as well as the service.

THE BEST burger hands down! We got the burger basket that comes with two sides. Tomatoes are fresh every day so my slice was like you used to get from a home garden! The balance of lettuce, tomato was perfect. We ordered fried squash and fried okra as sides. Breading and fry quality was perfect, not greasy or soggy. If you are a tea drinker, their unsweetened tea was good too. We asked about reserving the small area there in the back and were told that you could for birthday parties. Probably no more than 12 people can fit in the small room. We will be eating burgers there instead of anywhere else fast food! The restaurant has a 1950's feel with red seats and black and white checkerboard floors. The menu offers a good variety of choices. Service is excellent.

What a great neighborhood restaurant this is! It was our first stop when we were relocating to this area. Waitresses are top notch and made us feel welcomed. The food and prices are great.

Classic diner, like a flashback from a past era. Amazingly inexpensive American fare (pancakes, biscuits and gravy, burgers, shakes, etc). You can get a full breakfast for under $6 -- which is just awesome. Put your cell phone down (at least if you have Verizon) because there's no reception in the building. It's almost like you walk through a portal into the past where such distractions didn't work and you can just sit and enjoy the food and the company. Highly recommended.

Try the blueberry bread pudding. The best anywhere

Wonderful little local hole in the wall. They make a mean Reuben. Really friendly staff that make you feel welcome. A lot of locals seem to visit and they love to talk and include everyone in their conversation. Many love to tell the history behind the restaurant.

The meal was served hot and fresh.. Lots of menu items to choose from including plate lunches and daily specials at that are very affordable! Dining area and restroom were very clean! A hidden gem of a restaurant with very helpful and nice employees.. I highly recommend this restaurant to you and your family!!!

Not the best, not the worst. It is simple food for a good price and it will fill you up. Location is good and convenient so that is why I go. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

This resturant has a great atmosphere for a relaxing/casual dinner, and a very friendly and welcoming staff. The food here is excellent too, and the service is on point - never having to wait very long after ordering your food! You can tell everything there is fresh! All in all a great restaurant for a casual/quick bite or Family Dinner!

Excellent service. I love their vegetable soup & their salad with chicken strips. Sometimes they have wonderful desserts -love the lemon cake.

Super breakfast! I loved the pancakes. They reminded of my mom's (which I have not been able to replicate). I've got to let my son know. He has missed her cooking since she passed.

In a word. "YUMMY"! We split the fried shrimp dinner & were BOTH full as ticks! :)

Went there yesterday. Sat amongst some noisy customers in that little bay window area. Reported it to management but was told that is how they are all the time. My mama got a senior meal with chicken tenders and cucumber salad and I got a grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo no lettuce and coffee. Our order came correct, but the waitress must have had too many tables as mamas tea and my coffee, as well as my water was always either ice or nothing in my coffee cup. I believe the waitress was doing all she could, BUT she needed help and management which was right there knew it because he was right there watching in front. He wasn’t very friendly like he used to be. Anyhow, unfortunately the restaurant has changed and we may visit during less busy times during the day, we only hope that the manager will get back on track with a smile...😃

Food was great. Very very crowded and space is small. Food was served fast and waitress did an amazing job coming to the table and checking on us.
